NAWBO Charlotte worked with Mayor Vi Liles to advocate on behalf of all women in business and to proclaim October as Charlotte Women's Small Business Month!! Nicole Reina

Amaze Clean

Nicole Reina, CEO/Founder of Amaze Clean, opened her commercial cleaning company with big dreams in 2017. Diagnosed with 98% hearing loss at just 18 months old, Nicole was able to fully develop her speech and attend public school on time with the help of hearing aids, support from her stepfather, and true perseverance. She has successfully obtained two Bachelor’s degrees, as well as an MBA. After a successful career in retail, Nicole was inspired to venture out on her own. With help from her husband, who spent 20+ years in the Janitorial Industry, Amaze Clean was born. In her spare time, Nicole is devoted to spending time with her husband, two daughters, and their boxer.

Shirley Viincent

Netrocon Digital

Shirley Vincent left the corporate workforce to become a serial entrepreneur in STEM. She founded Netrocon Systems in 2002 to build software products and Applications that are easy to use with intuitive product design. She later founded Netrocon Digital, which helped clients undergo successful digital marketing transformation.  Under Shirley’s leadership, Netrocon Systems and Netrocon Digital grew to be a multi-million-dollar businesses with offices in 3 states and a satellite office in London. Shirley has been named Enterprising Woman of the year 2019 and Netrocon Digital won the Gold winner of the year award in 2019 by SVUS. She was also a finalist for CEO of the year 2018 by Go Global awards in the international category.

NAWBO Charlotte past president Penny Benkeser appeared on WJZY’s Good Day Charlotte with co-host Barbara Pinson. During October’s National Women’s Small Business Month, Penny shared information on the 92,000 women-owned businesses in the Charlotte metro area and the chapter’s 2nd Annual Success in the City event held on October 26.
