    Member News:
When noteworthy honors occur for your business, submit news items to webwoman@nawbocharlotte.org for inclusion in the monthly email newsletter - NewsFlash - and for inclusion on our website.

News articles should be limited to 100 words or less, if at all possible.  You may also submit a photo and/or logo (please send in jpg or gif format) to use with the news item.

    Things to note:

  • Where space is limited we may only be able to use the text content, without any included images.
  • News items will be edited where needed for space and other considerations.
  • All submissions will be considered for inclusion; however, we will not always use a submission -
    • If the item is considered advertisement-driven or related to ongoing business as usual events. Please consider supporting NAWBO through advertisements for your advertising needs.
    • If the item cannot be presented timely, related to the content
    • If the item is one of many from the same source, either at one time or over a course of a few months.  Please try to limit submissions to the most newsworthy items.

But you don't need us to communicate news to your NAWBO sisters and contacts...

Post your own news on
LinkedIn or FaceBook!

The NAWBO website and NewsFlash are great tools for NAWBO members to reach a targeted and extensive group of valuable contacts - ones that may not be included in the LinkedIn or FaceBook contacts - so please do still send items to be included there.

Unlike the NAWBO Member News submissions, the information you post on LinkedIn and Facebook isn't limited to NAWBO or your own businesses' news items. You can also include (free!) marketing, advertising and general discussions for your business AND for other groups, events or services you think your NAWBO sisters may be interested in.

The NAWBO Charlotte LinkedIn group is currently open to NAWBO Charlotte members only.  On LinkedIn you can not only post news, You can ask and answer questions about any aspect of running a small business - or about NAWBO itself.

NAWBO Charlotte's FaceBook profile is open to all interested, not just members, so you can go there and post your news, events and information to a broader on-line audience.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • If you're unable to post a Member News item to either FaceBook or LinkedIn and would like us to do it for you, let us know when you submit your news item to us; however, that should be limited to those items intended for the NAWBO newsletter, and be within those news item guidelines.
  • We DO NOT extract information from LinkedIn or FaceBook for Member News use, so you must submit your items via email - but don't wait to share your news: post away on FaceBook and LinkedIn in the meantime!
  • We do monitor for 'inappropriate and/or offensive content' and will remove it without notice at our discretion, as soon as possible; however, monitoring is not on-going. Please email webwoman@nawbocharlotte.org for any issues related to our profiles/groups. Also email us if you would like to help us with the administration, monitoring and other facilitation of discussions on either platform.
